I’ve asked on twitter for them to add cheats to console, and I hope they do. And when your like me and you can’t handle micro managing more then one fleet at once doing more then having 1 fleet is annoying Because just building a navy takes forever. What do fortress worlds and alloys even do? For border systems I just put a defense station, that’s all I can do to defend myself. I’ve made large empires before in this game, but I’m never able to build a large navy. Without those I can’t do anything, and the upkeep gets way too high. No fortress worlds for console Minerals and energy are my problem. I build either an energy, mineral, or research building, bam. There’s no such thing as districts for my game. The AI doesn’t take breaks and works slowly, you need to be incredibly fast or you can’t do shit.

The AI cheats and makes more shit then I can Those ARE my economy, and the upkeep gets way too fucking high. Minerals and energy are the only thing I ever use. Obviously the better you get at managing your economy the faster your can do everything but try this out on a game. I personally believe a planet doesnt really start going into you have at least 10 pops on it. The faster you can colonize and start getting more pops the faster your economy grows. Then build your fleet, by year 2300 you should have a good sized fleet under your belt.Īlso dont forget about pops and colonizing. Build a fortress world or two also for more naval cap if you need it. Then start building starbases and put naval cap buildings on them. Then find a good sized world to turn into your alloy world. Do like 60/40 mineral districts/energy districts. Eventually two then around 2250 start building your economy for alloys. Focus one planet into becoming a research world. Build a mineral district every once in a while and an alloys foundry here and there so you have the economy to build your defenses. So build energy buildings and research labs. If i were you i would try to throw everything into technology in the beginning years and just build up your defenses on your chokepoints.

Everything in the game pretty much revolves around your tecnology (and your pops). The faster you can build that up the better. Well, you just have to figure out how to manage your economy.
